Zac Efron consolida carrera con nuevo filme “Me and Orson Welles”
Se ha estrenado a través de Yahoo! Movies un nuevo trailer de la esperada nueva película del galán Zac Efron, “Me and Orson Welles“. Poco mas de dos minutos de duración, el avance es narrado por Richard Samuels (Efron) y ofrece una mirada más cercana a sus interacciones con Orson Welles (Christian McKay) y Sonja Claire (Danes Jones). También ofrece pinceladas de los problemas con los que Welles tuvo que lidear en la producción de “Julius Caesar“.
La trata de la cinta gira sobre una Richard Samuels quien en una semana de locura de 1937 en Nueva York, a sus 17 años de edad, pasa sus días soñando con las brillantes luces de Broadway, cuando consigue su gran oportunidad al obtener un papel en la histórica puesta en escena de Orson Welles de la obra “Julius Caesar” de Shakespeare. Pero con un Welles mujeriego tomandose más prioridad para las faldas que para los ensayos, el caos y la calamidad marcan la producción desde el principio. En poco tiempo, la noche de apertura ha llegado y Richard descubrirá los secretos terribles del mundo del espectáculo.
En medio de todo ést Richard Samuels (Zac Efron) encuentra el amor en Sonja Claire (Danes Jones).
Dirigida por el nominado al Premio de la Academia Richard Linklater, “Me and Orson Welles” fue filmado en la Isla de Man, Londres y en Nueva York. Basado en la novela homónima de Robert Kaplow y ambientada en el apasionante mundo del teatro de Nueva York, tendrá un estreno en los cines de EE.UU. el 25 de noviembre, cosa que podría cambiar dependiendo de como vaya la taquilla.
Esta será la segunda prueba de fuego para Zac Efron luego de su exitosa High School Musical. Ya logró el éxito en su primer intento con “17 Otra Vez“, de lograrlo de nuevo se consolidaría como una de las nuevas grandes estrellas de Hollywood.
