Agente de David Carradine dice no se ahorcó, muerte es un misterio

El actor estadounidense David Carradine, conocido por las popular serie de TV “Kung Fu” fue encontrado muerto, alegadamente colgado de su cuello en el lujoso hotel hotel Park Nai Lert en Bangkok, Tailandia.
Aunque los medios locales y otros inicialmente informaron que Carradine se había suicidado ahorcándose -dentro de un placard- en la suite de su hotel, su agente afirmó más tarde que la muerte no seria un suicidio ya que el actor nunca lo cometeria. Carradine, que tenía 72 años, estaba en el país asiático grabando su nueva película, Stretch, dirigida por el francés Charles de Meaux. Tenia ademas tres peliculas mas en agenda para el 2009.
El actor que contaba con 72 años, habría muerto el miércoles por la noche o el jueves por la madrugada. La policia confirmo que estaba atado al cuello al encontrarle una trabajadora del hotel en posicion sentado.
David, cuyo nombre real es John Arthur Carradine, era hijo del actor John Carradine, y hermanastro de Keith Carradine y Robert Carradine, todos actores de Hollywood. David Carradine comenzó su carrera cinematográfica en el año 1964 en el western Taggart.
Uno de los últimos filmes en donde estuvo fue ”Kill Bill”, de Quentin Tarantino, que apareció en dos partes en 2003 y 2004.
En 2009 se estrenó la película “Big Stan” (“El gran Stan” en España, “A prueba de hombres” en Hispanoamérica), en la que David hace el papel de cruel maestro de artes marciales del protagonista, recordando a su étapa en la serie Kung Fu.
