Drew Barrymore es candidata a dirigir “Saga Crepúsculo: Eclipse”
La revista Entertainment Weekly ha especulado que la conocida actriz estadounidense Drew Barrymore es uno de los posibles candidatos para dirigir “Saga Crepúsculo: Eclipse”. De acuerdo a esta información que basicamente es un rumor, la productora Summit Entertainment está en busca de garantizar un director para la tercera entrega de saga de vampiros protagonizada por Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart y Taylor Lautner.
La mencionada revista publica que: “Como Summit Entertainment espera conseguir un director para la tercera entrega de la serie Crepúsculo, Eclipse, la compañía está hablando con un grupo selecto de directores – entre ellos la actriz convertida en directora Drew Barrymore”. A pesar de la especulación, ni el estudio ni los representantes de Barrymore 34 años, han confirmado nada que se encuentren en negociaciones.
Ya antes les habiamos informado que como el rodaje de “Eclipse” se hará en una fecha muy cercana a “Saga Crepúsculo: Luna Nueva” y como las dos películas no se filmaran una tras la otra (back-to-back), el director Chris Weitz no tendrá tiempo suficiente para dirigir las dos películas ya que estará en post-producción de “Luna Nueva” cuando “Eclipse” inicie rodaje, por lo que Summit Entertainment anda en la caza de un director para la tercera entrega desde ya.
Lo que si resulta un tanto extraño en que se considere a Barrymore como posible directora de una cinta con tantas expectativas, cuando se le conoce poca experiencia como directora. Su única experiencia en el rol es con el filme de comedia “Whip It!” que se estrenará este año y en el cual también actua.
“Eclipse” se basa en el tercer libro de la serie de vampiros de Stephenie Meyer. “Como Seattle es asolada por una serie de misteriosos asesinatos y un vampiro malicioso sigue en búsqueda de venganza, Bella, una vez más, se encuentra rodeada de peligro”.
“En medio de todo, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) se ve obligada a elegir entre su amor por Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) y su amistad con Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner ) – a sabiendas de que su decisión tiene el potencial de encender la eterna lucha entre el vampiro y el lobo. Con su graduación acercándose rápidamente, Bella tiene una decisión más que hacer: la vida o la muerte. Pero cuál es cuál?,” así reza el avance de la trama que ha suministrado Summit Entertainment a los medios.

no tenia idea que fuera directora, pero creo que con tan poca experiencia seria una mala opcion, en caso de queluna nueva tenga el mismo exito comercial de crepusculo, no se que opinaran los fans, no pido un director como el de el curioso caso de benjamin button, obvio, pero creo que la saga si se mercee alguien con un poquito mas de experiencia.
